A Dream Team Equals Success Support

Today you’re being encouraged to recruit your Dream Team, a success support system.  Stop going solo while getting your life right side up.  You’re not an Army of One.

If it takes a village to raise a child, it also takes a village to support a healthy woman.  That village is your Dream Team, ideally as varied and awesome as a box of chocolates.

Your vibe attracts your tribe; if you don’t have a healthy vibe, hitch your wagon to another team that does have a healthy vibe.  Get a posse upgrade!

While it’s true that some personal development work involves solo-soul-searching, it’s critical to have a noble network to bounce things off of or otherwise assist you in rebooting the operating system of your life.

Getting at least some input or assistance from others helps.  Sometimes those “others” will be professionals (doctors, lawyers, mental healthcare providers, mentors, life coaches, organizing professionals, personal assistants). Sometimes the “others” will be relatives, friends, spiritual leaders or members of support groups.  Your Dream Team should involve a mix of both.

Broke?  Through public assistance you can score Dream Team members to provide healthcare, including psychiatric intervention or legal representation (depending on where you live and the situation at hand) and even mentors through not-for-profit, volunteer, public, private and/or religious organizations or groups.

If you don’t ask, you don’t get.  Start looking.  Start asking.  Hook yourself up with the assistance and support of a Dream Team ASAP.

And if you do have some spare cash, prioritize how you spend it so you can fold in Dream Team members that may require payment for services rendered.  Be rigorous in your evaluation of where your money and time goes from now on.

Are you spending money on what makes you happy for a few hours (an expensive meal) or for a day/week (a new outfit)?  Should you instead invest in a life coach, psychiatrist or both (if need be), etc. so that you can learn techniques that will help keep you happy and health for far, far longer?  The choice is yours.

Who should you consider to be on the roster of the Dream Team, free or paid?  Positive people.  Healthy people.  Driven people.  Successful people.

Even if you live in a dangerous area and “successful people” aren’t immediately accessible to you, chances are that somehow through the “six degrees of separation” connecting all human beings there’s a lead you can chase down who’ll make a great Dream Team member.

Stumped on how to find Dream Team members?  Use the FRANKS formula for leads who are Friends, Relatives, Acquaintances, Neighbors, Kids’ Parents and Spousal Connections.  For every person who’s in your immediate circle, they have FRANKS, too.  So if your own posse is lacking, keep spreading your reach in your Dream Team recruiting efforts to extend your reach.
